ANTON THE BUTCHER BITCH

Ok, so life in Perth just gets better.

Anton got a PAY CUT today. Seems as though once you've managed to endure three weeks at the meatpacking plant, your employers reward you by compulsorily classifying you as part time and dropping your pay from $17 an hour to $13 an hour.

Same hours, less money. Striking a blow for industrial relations everywhere.

So Anton engaged in a little bit of "enterprise bargaining" and managed to negotiate a whopping $14 an hour instead. Plus benefits. Company car, personal assistant, generous superannuation package, pair of overalls, a shred of personal dignity (up from a smidgin) . That kind of thing.

Sorry, sweets. I slept on it, but I am still strugling to understand your complaint... Sounds pretty fucking generous to me. Even at 14 bucks an hour.

Besides, there are people out there living on a dolar a day.. Soon enough your sponsor child in Africa will be 18 and supporting the anglo-granny fund.

Bring on the AWA standards man! ;)
Love you Jonny Howard.
Love you radical bastaaaaaards!

Great idea Busty, however my sponsor child has been dead for two years! You must have missed that post.

To cut a long story short, when I phoned at the end of last financial year to question the fact that my tax deductible statement was only showing one payment for the year, I was duly informed that my sponsor child had been dead for the past 11 months. And no-one at World Vision had deemed it necessary to actually call or write to inform me.

Grrr.... World Vision.... Won't be seeing any more of my hard-earned.
